Statement from Chairman Pam Bondi, Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) on Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller’s Decision to Run for Congress

Florida Attorney General and RAGA Chairman Pam Bondi released the following statement on Attorney General Greg Zoeller’s decision to run in Indiana’s 9th Congressional District in the 2016 General Election:

“Attorney General Zoeller has been a great colleague of mine and a strong advocate for the Republican attorneys general since first being elected in 2008. During his two terms in office, Attorney General Zoeller has made consumer protection and public health and safety a priority. His expansion of the Do Not Call law and his fight to provide a way for parents to protect their children from identity theft has enhanced the privacy and security for countless Hoosiers. Attorney General Zoeller has been a strong defender of states’ rights and would be a real leader in the fight against an overreaching federal government as a member of Congress. I wish Attorney General Zoeller the best of luck in his race in Indiana’s 9th Congressional District and look forward to devoting my time and efforts to help elect another strong defender of the rule of law to serve as Indiana’s 43rd Attorney General in 2016.”
