RAGA Launches West Virginia Spending

The Republican Attorneys General Association today launched a statewide campaign effort through its affiliated West Virginia arm, Mountaineers Are Always Free PAC.

“This effort, both on radio and through extensive digital advertising, will remind West Virginia voters of the critical work Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is doing on behalf of West Virginia families,” said RAGA Executive Director Scott Will. “General Morrisey has led the fight against the Obama Administration’s anti-coal efforts; defended our Second Amendment freedoms against liberal extremists; and is working to stop the opioid epidemic affecting West Virginia families.”

“RAGA is committed to making sure that West Virginians know their Attorney General is standing up for West Virginia jobs and families every day in the face of the Obama-Clinton machine,” Will continued. “West Virginians can count on Patrick Morrisey to fight back against Obama, Clinton, and their extreme liberal agenda that is devastating the Mountain State.”

The radio and digital advertising campaign announced today is RAGA’s first major investment of the 2016 campaign cycle in any state in the country.

About RAGA: The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) is the only national organization whose mission is electing Republicans to the Office of State Attorney General. In 2014 Republican attorneys general became the clear majority, for the first time in our country’s history, increasing the total number of Republican attorneys general from 24 to 27, protecting all our 12 incumbents and turning three states from blue to red, by investing nearly $14 million into political spending.
