RAGA Chairman Bill Schuette's Statement on Presidential Directive

Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) Chairman and Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette released the following statement:

"In recent months, President Obama and various officials have attempted to stretch the Constitution, ignore the doctrine of separation of powers and the meaning and precise language of several federal statutes," stated RAGA Chairman and Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette.

"Whether the issue is immigration policy, EPA overreach, the specific language governing the application of Title IX or free speech rights and scientific debate on environmental policy, Republican Attorneys General will work with Governors and responsible elected officials to enforce the law and defend the Constitution."
