ICYMI: RAGA Launches OffTheMarkHerring.com

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Democrat Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring has crusaded his liberal agenda as AG since first taking office. Today, the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) launched a new website, OffTheMarkHerring.com, first reported by the Washington Examiner, which highlight Herring's failures in office, from handing out backdoor pay raises to his staff, to restricting 2nd Amendment rights.

The Washington Examiner reports

"The Republican Attorneys General Association is narrowing in on Virginia Democratic incumbent Mark Herring for "putting his own politics" before the state's laws.

"On Tuesday, the RAGA is launching a website called "Off the Mark Herring" that slams the attorney general as "a career politician who puts his own political agenda ahead of the laws passed by the people of Virginia through their elected representatives."

"The RAGA's new site focuses specifically on four examples in its effort to demonstrate Herring's habit of "putting his own politics before Virginia," drawing attention to the incumbent's decisions on gun reciprocity, staff pay raises, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, and right-to-work laws. On each topic, browsers are provided with lengthy background information making the case against Herring's record.

"'Virginia needs a new lawyer – one who will enforce and defend its laws,' the site argues."
