Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi's Office and the FTC Sue Businesses for Alleged Business Directory Scams

Attorney General Pam Bondi's office and the Federal Trade Commission are suing businesses for alleged business directory scams. The companies facing these allegations have purportedly charged consumers up to $1,800 in extra charges that were not authorized to be made. 

"I urge Florida consumers and businesses to watch for unauthorized charges on invoices. We will continue to pursue illegitimate businesses that seek to deceive consumers into giving up their hard-earned dollars,” stated Attorney General Pam Bondi.
